Andy Austin

Andy Austin, MAI, CCIM, CAI, AARE, AMM, SRES; owns Double A Auction & Realty and brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate valuation, auctions, brokerage, and consulting. He is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Virginia, a broker in Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia, and a licensed auctioneer in those states and Florida.

Andy holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute; CAI, AMM, and AARE designations from the National Auction Association; and the CCIM designation from the CCIM Institute. He earned his CCIM in Los Angeles in October 2026, strengthening his expertise in commercial real estate investment analysis, financial modeling, and market analysis.

His career began in 2005 in Roanoke, Virginia. He established Austin Appraisal & Consulting in 2012 and earned his MAI in 2013. His appraisal experience includes multifamily, retail, industrial, special-purpose, high-value residential, and land properties. Clients have included banks, attorneys, insurers, landowners, and trusts.

Andy founded Double A Auction & Realty in 2016, focusing on real estate auctions. His work includes seized real estate dispositions for the U.S. Marshals Service and tax-delinquent property sales for Virginia localities. He has served on auction teams across 11 states, with experience in bid calling, simulcast events, auction management, photography, and digital marketing.

Combining valuation expertise, competitive auction marketing, and investment analysis, Andy helps clients evaluate acquisitions, projected cash flows, investment returns, and disposition strategies. Through Double A Auction & Realty, he helps clients turn assets into liquid cash through thorough analysis, focused marketing, and professionally managed auctions.
